Description
Mona Shores Public Schools is soliciting bids for the installation and cabling of a new video surveillance system at Mona Shores High School. The project involves two primary scopes: Division 27 (low voltage cabling) and Division 28 (camera installation and programming). The cabling contractor will be responsible for demolishing existing analog and IP cameras, pulling new CAT6 data cables and 18AWG 2C power cables, providing conduit and supports, installing patch panels and patch cables, and pulling all necessary permits. The camera installer will install owner-provided cameras, mounts, and servers, aim and configure all cameras within Avigilon ACC, upgrade the ACC7 system to Unity 8, and configure failover for all cameras. The project also includes wireless point-to-point devices for outbuildings. Contractors must have a brick-and-mortar presence within 50 miles of the school and hold relevant certifications (Avigilon, BICSI, RCDD).
