Description
The Village of Spring Lake is soliciting unit-price bids for approximately 1,450 feet of East River Street reconstruction. The work includes replacement of approximately 1,500 feet of 8-inch ductile-iron water main and 40 feet of 6-inch water main, lead water-service replacement, sanitary sewer replacement and cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining, storm sewer replacement and CIPP lining, manholes, catch basins, valves, hydrants, fittings, restoration, traffic control, and related utility work. Roadway work includes removals, grading, aggregate base, HMA paving, concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks, driveway and curb-ramp work, pavement markings, erosion control, turf establishment, and associated restoration. Bidders must be prequalified by the Village of Spring Lake or submit the required financial statement and experience questionnaire ten working days before bid opening. The proposal must include unit prices and a 5% bid bond or certified check. The engineer's estimate is $2,365,000. The contractor must complete the work by August 20, 2027, with work anticipated to begin May 17, 2027.
