Description
The City of Holland is soliciting sealed bids for upgrades to its Police Division's indoor shooting range. The work includes removing existing ballistic curtains and installing at least 1/4-inch-thick self-healing ballistic curtains and hardware; removing lead and foreign objects from existing rubber Grantex mulch; replenishing the hopper with up to 40 bags of new Grantex mulch; and sanitizing range surfaces. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, materials, lead-safe cleaning technicians, personal protective equipment, fuel, mobilization and demobilization, lodging, and per diem. Required cleaning includes a TSP-alternative wipe-down of shooting stations, walls, and countertops, plus HEPA vacuuming of the entire range floor. Bids must be submitted on the provided Bid Form, and award will be made to the lowest responsible bidder, subject to the City's stated local-bidder preference provisions.
