Description
Byron Center Public Schools is requesting firm-fixed-price quotations for Category One maintenance and operations services for its private lit fiber network connecting district buildings. The requested service supports capacities from 1 Gbps to 10 Gbps, with approximately $100,000 in annual coverage requested and a preference for a multiyear contract. Bidders must have an E-rate SPIN, maintain the required 2027 Service Provider Annual Certification Form 473 filing by September 1, 2027, and maintain active SAM.gov registration. Quotes must clearly identify any products or services that are not eligible for Universal Service Fund support and must comply with applicable E-rate, Lowest Corresponding Price, and procurement requirements. The district may select more than one provider and may consider factors beyond price, including experience, qualifications, understanding of needs, response completeness, and ability to complete the service within the required timeframe.
