Description
Ottawa County, on behalf of the Ottawa County Parks and Recreation Commission, is soliciting bids for renovation of the entrance road at Grand Ravines County Park. The work includes pulverizing the existing pavement, grading and recompacting the base, proof rolling, and installing four inches of 4EL hot-mix asphalt in two lifts over approximately 6,411 square yards. Contractors must provide all labor, materials, equipment, permits, testing, site protection, erosion control, cleanup, and closeout work, and must complete construction from May 4 through May 13, 2027. The bid must include a completed Bid Form and bid security of at least five percent of the total bid. Contracts exceeding $50,000 require 100-percent performance and payment bonds. Insurance requirements include commercial general liability, workers’ compensation, employers’ liability, automobile, umbrella/excess liability, professional liability, and other applicable coverage, with specified minimum limits and additional-insured requirements. The solicitation also requires relevant construction experience, necessary licenses and permits, a site supervisor while work is underway, and compliance with the attached project specifications and drawings.
