Description
The Town of Parker is soliciting bids for construction of a southbound right-turn lane at the intersection of Dransfeldt Road and Motsenbocker Road. The work includes removal of existing curb, gutter, sidewalk, trench drain, asphalt, pavement markings, and a light standard; excavation and erosion control; installation of approximately 143 cubic yards of aggregate base course, 402 square yards of six-inch concrete sidewalk, 13 square yards of concrete curb ramp, 358 linear feet of curb and gutter, 165 tons of hot-mix asphalt, 372 linear feet of perforated pipe underdrain, geogrid pavement reinforcement, electrical conduit, a pull box, a light-standard foundation, signage, pavement markings, and traffic-control devices. The contractor must provide traffic control, utility coordination, construction surveying, mobilization, environmental and public-access coordination, and related roadway and lighting work. The project has a fixed completion date of May 28, 2027. A bid bond of at least 5% is required, along with 100% performance, payment, and maintenance bonds after award. Insurance coverage is required, including workers’ compensation, employer’s liability, commercial general liability, and commercial automobile liability.
