Description
The Bloomington Fire District is seeking a contractor for snow and ice removal during the November 1, 2026, through October 31, 2027, winter season at Bloomington Fire Station, 14 Taylor Street, Bloomington, and Binnewater Station, 48 Sawdust Road, Binnewater. Services include clearing bays, parking lots, sidewalks, shed pads, fuel and water-fill areas, and generator access after storms; plowing after specified snow accumulations; and salting bay areas, parking lots, and walkways with contractor-provided salt. The Binnewater Station scope excludes the fuel area and generator access. The contractor must repair plow damage and remove plow debris at the end of the season. Required insurance includes general liability, automobile liability, workers’ compensation, and disability insurance; the fire district and fire company must be named as additional insureds. Completed bids must be submitted by the bid opening on October 20, 2026, at 6:30 p.m.
