Description
The Town of East Greenbush is soliciting proposals from qualified engineering consultants to assess its existing Stormwater Management Program and update its Stormwater Management Program Plan in accordance with New York State Department of Environmental Conservation MS4 permit GP-0-24-001 and related federal and state requirements. The work includes stakeholder input, review of municipal operations and facilities, identification of needed improvements, and recommendations for procedures, local-law modifications, best management practices, and ongoing tracking of MS4 obligations. The consultant must also review existing stormwater mapping and system inventories, including catch basins and post-construction stormwater management practices, and provide recommendations supporting a phased MS4 mapping project. The Town expects on-site meetings for municipal facility inspections; proposers must recommend the level of field effort in their approach and cost. Existing mapping information will be provided through the Town's ArcGIS platform. New York State experience relevant to GP-0-15-003 and/or GP-0-24-001 will be considered, including experience of proposed personnel or subconsultants when clearly identified. Addendum #1 confirms that applicable workers' compensation and disability-insurance exemption documentation may be accepted and removes the consequential-damages, professional-liability additional-insured, duty-to-defend, and statewide political-subdivision-extension requirements.
