Description
The City of Chino is seeking a contractor to clean and televise up to 50 miles of sewer mainlines and inspect up to 500 lower service laterals per fiscal year. Sewer cleaning must precede CCTV inspections, which must follow current NASSCO standards and include digital video, still images, condition ratings, and detailed inspection reports. The contractor must also provide cleaning activity logs and promptly report conditions posing an immediate threat to public health, safety, sewer operations, or infrastructure. The scope includes as-needed sewer maintenance repairs, traffic control, and an optional additive item for developing and delivering an ArcGIS-compatible GIS data layer derived from inspection results. The awarded contractor must hold a valid California Class A General Engineering Contractor's License. The initial contract term is five years, with up to two additional one-year renewal options. Proposals require technical qualifications, project approach, references, a separate fee proposal, conflict-of-interest and insurance acknowledgments, and a sample work product.
