Description
The City of Ely is soliciting sealed bids for construction of the Central Ely Sewer Upgrade Project, PWP# WP-2026-306 and EPA Community Funding Project No. 97T10501. The project is federally funded and subject to federal labor standards, Davis-Bacon wage rates, and Build America, Buy America requirements. Contractors and subcontractors must be registered and active in SAM.gov, and bidders must hold the applicable Nevada contractor's license and obtain a City business license before commencing construction. Bids must use the provided proposal form and include bid security equal to at least 5% of the total bid. Only registered plan holders may submit bids. Plans, proposal forms, contracts, and special provisions are available from Basin Engineering for a nonrefundable fee. The award may be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on price, qualifications, compliance with specifications, and other stated public-interest factors.
