Description
North Bay Village is soliciting statements of qualifications from engineering firms to provide professional services for stormwater, roadway, resiliency, streetscape, utility coordination, green infrastructure, and related right-of-way improvements in the Treasure Island neighborhood. The scope includes planning, surveying, geotechnical and environmental services, permitting, utility coordination, public involvement, design, cost estimating, bidding support, grant support, construction administration, and Engineer of Record services during construction. The project also includes evaluation and design of a multifunctional stormwater park at 7560 West Treasure Drive, integrating structural and nature-based stormwater management with recreational and community amenities. The selected consultant must coordinate with water and wastewater planning efforts and incorporate resilience, climate adaptation, green infrastructure, and hybrid gray-green solutions. The Village intends to select one or more consultants and negotiate a professional services agreement under Florida's Consultants' Competitive Negotiation Act.
