Description
The City of Miami Beach is establishing a five-year prequalification pool of contractors to supply and deliver aggregate, topsoil, and sand on an as-needed basis for future city projects. Materials must meet the latest FDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction when applicable. Prequalification does not guarantee any work; participating city departments may later request quotations from pool members for specific projects. Applicants must complete the Bidder Prequalification Application, including firm information, ownership and management details, three client references from the last five years, certifications, compliance disclosures, and required affidavits. The application is submitted electronically through Bidnet Direct. The solicitation requires workers’ compensation/employer’s liability, commercial general liability, automobile liability, and professional liability insurance before contract award and throughout the contract term.
