Description
Miami-Dade County is requesting comprehensive maintenance services for approximately 5,271 streetlights in its North East Zone, including county and Florida Department of Transportation corridors. The contractor must provide supervision, labor, materials, tools, and equipment for nighttime patrols, system monitoring, preventive maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, component replacement, emergency outage and knockdown response, and removal of unpermitted or expired signs and related devices. The work requires a valid electrical contractor qualification, qualified journeyman electricians with IMSA Roadway Lighting Level I certification, and a master electrician available at the job site or able to respond within four hours. The estimated value is $4,239,198, and the contract duration is 1,095 calendar days. The solicitation requires bid, payment, and performance security, insurance, and submission of multiple completed solicitation forms and certifications, including a five-percent bid bond and experience documentation for at least three similar projects completed or active within the past five years.
