Description
The Town of Gilbert seeks qualified job-order contractors to provide preconstruction, construction, renovation, repair, and maintenance services for parks and related infrastructure. Work may include playgrounds, splash pads, sports fields and courts, shade structures, restrooms, irrigation systems, municipal lakes, parking areas, landscaping, site furnishings, and other park amenities. Individual job orders will have agreed scopes, schedules, and prices; proposals may be lump sum or guaranteed maximum price. The total contract amount may not exceed $20 million, and no individual job order may exceed $5 million. The Town expects to select between one and five firms. The contract term is one year, with up to four additional annual renewals at the Town’s option. Statements of qualifications must address the specified management, experience, staffing, subcontractor-selection, and past-performance criteria. Three past-performance verification forms for similar projects are requested, with the project owners or representatives submitting them directly by mail or fax before the deadline stated on each form.
