Description
The USDA Forest Service is soliciting quotes for replacement of the sewer line and related repair work at the Big Piney Ranger Station on the Bridger-Teton National Forest. The work includes demolition of finished flooring as needed, demolition of the concrete slab along approximately 81 feet of sewer line, disconnection and reconnection of 17 plumbing fixtures, sewer line replacement, concrete slab and aggregate patching, replacement of finished flooring, and removal and proper disposal of demolished materials. The contractor must provide all required materials and describe the proposed sewer line replacement method and areas affected by demolition. The amendment provides answers to vendor questions. The site is available for weekday visits from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for camera inspection, coordinated with Philip Wong. Cure-in-place epoxy liners may be considered depending on the inspection results and whether they address the existing elbow-transition configuration. The contract remains a firm-fixed-price construction contract with a period of performance from November 1, 2026, through January 29, 2027.
