Description
Summit County is soliciting proposals from qualified individuals or firms to provide on-call maintenance for electric streetlights throughout the county. The scope includes testing, repair, adjustment, replacement, and installation, with all necessary labor, equipment, tools, transportation, and work records. Work must comply with the National Electrical Code and be performed or supervised by qualified electric technicians holding current Utah licenses. The contractor must provide an initial site inspection within 24 hours after an outage is reported, unless deferred by the Deputy Public Works Director, and must support both regular and outage-related service. Materials and supplies will be reimbursed separately under the stated pricing approach. Proposals are limited to three pages and must include firm qualifications, project manager information, demonstrated streetlight experience, response-time capability or limitations, and the completed fee proposal. The agreement runs from execution through December 31, 2028, with up to two two-year extensions possible.
