The Federal Aviation Administration is seeking small-business prime contractors capable of designing and constructing a finished 5,208-square-foot pre-engineered metal storage garage at the Boise Air Traffic Control Tower at Gowen Field. The facility will be approximately 53 feet wide by 90 feet long with an 18-foot eave height, 14-foot minimum interior clearance, R-11 roof and wall insulation, freeze-protection heating, ventilation, exterior LED lighting, two large insulated roll-up doors, two personnel egress doors, and manual chain hoists. The work includes cleaning and sealing the existing concrete slab, constructing a reinforced concrete perimeter foundation with augered piers and a stem wall, installing heavy-duty asphalt paving for trailer maneuvering, grading for drainage, and implementing stormwater pollution prevention measures. Plumbing, domestic water, and subsurface drainage piping are excluded. The anticipated performance period is 90 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed under a firm-fixed-price contract. Interested firms must submit a capability statement addressing relevant PEMB, foundation, and paving experience; past performance; key personnel; bonding capacity; insurability; and company registration and socioeconomic information.
