Description
This Sources Sought notice requests capability statements for a planned firm-fixed-price, design-bid-build construction project to renovate and expand Building 88 at the Boise VA Medical Center. The work includes up to 2,200 square feet of new single-story additions and approximately 11,900 square feet of renovation to create two fully functional primary care clinics and associated Environmental Management, Facilities Management, and Logistics support areas. The anticipated scope includes complete interior demolition and redesign of former patient-care spaces, seismic upgrades, roof-mounted photovoltaic systems, compliance with VA design standards, commissioning, and phased construction to minimize disruption to ongoing medical center operations. The anticipated construction magnitude is $10 million to $20 million, with an estimated 365-calendar-day performance period beginning upon issuance of a Notice to Proceed. Respondents must submit a capability statement addressing company qualifications, business size and socioeconomic status, statement of interest, bonding capacity, relevant projects completed within the past seven years, technical capabilities, key personnel, and self-performed work.
