Description
Floyd County is soliciting a contractor to remove the existing pump systems and install two 500 GPM vertical turbine pumps, two motors, two variable-frequency drives, power equipment, and related components at the Burnett Ferry Road Pump Station. The County will provide the pumps, motors, VFDs, disconnect switches, and 400-amp panel; the contractor must provide other installation materials and labor. The scope includes installing the power panel, drives, pumps, and motors; piping modifications; electrical work beyond the County-provided equipment; coordination with Georgia Power; permits and inspections as necessary; disconnection and placement of existing switchgear for County disposal; and integration with the existing SCADA system, with programming supplied by Dorsett. The contractor must provide and follow a reasonable downtime timeline, possess Utility Manager and Utility Contractor licenses, and use an electrician holding an Unrestricted Electrical Construction License. A separate pricing form requires additional-materials, labor, total-price, and estimated start and completion dates.
