Description
The Special School District of St. Louis County is soliciting proposals for the purchase and installation of an Ultra XD downdraft automotive paint booth and a three-sided mixing room at South Technical High School. The specified paint booth includes a 14-foot-by-9-foot-by-27-foot working area, 12,000 CFM airflow, a 24-foot exhaust pit, exhaust and intake fans, LED lighting, doors, controls, ductwork, ramps, and personnel landing pads. The mixing room includes a 9-foot-by-9-foot-by-10-foot working area, exhaust ventilation, lighting, a personnel door, controls, and ductwork. The project includes demolition and disposal of the existing booth, basement, and mixing room; utility disconnections; roof-penetration capping and waterproofing; assembly and anchorage of the new equipment; ductwork and roof installation; gas-line verification or installation; airline connections and customer-supplied filter-system installation; electrical verification and upgrades; booth and mixing-room wiring; fire-alarm and fire-suppression work; required permits and design; debris removal; and coordination with roofing and fire-alarm contractors. Proposals must include firm pricing, maintenance, supplies, delivery, training, service rates, a standard service-agreement sample, insurance documentation, company qualifications, references, and the required proposal attachments and certifications. Delivery is required no later than May 1, 2027. The district also announced a vendor site visit on September 11, 2026, at 2:00 PM; vendors should report to South Technical High School's main office by that time to check in and proceed to the site location.
