Description
The City of Glendale, Missouri is requesting qualifications from consulting engineering firms to provide professional engineering and construction engineering services for the E. Essex Avenue Phase 2 project between N. Sappington Road and Devon Road. The project includes roadway resurfacing, pavement repairs, ADA-compliant sidewalks and curb ramps, curb and gutter, driveway and walkway adjustments, a new stormwater collection system, traffic calming, pedestrian safety improvements, pavement markings, signage, utility coordination, and restoration work. The selected consultant will support preliminary engineering, environmental documentation and permitting, right-of-way plans and acquisition, surveys, geotechnical and utility investigations as needed, final design, preparation of plans/specifications/estimates and bid documents, bidding and award processing, construction engineering, materials testing, public involvement, and project closeout. The estimated total project cost is approximately $2.33 million, including approximately $1.7 million in construction. The Statement of Qualifications is limited to six pages, including the cover letter, and must address firm qualifications, key personnel, capacity and availability, technical approach, schedule, past performance, similar projects, and client references. A Statement of Qualifications is required, and firms must be MoDOT-prequalified; DBE firms must be listed in the MRCC directory.
