Description
Johnson County is seeking a contractor to provide materials and labor for the SHR OPS and NCADC Roller Shade Project at the Sheriff New Century Campus. The work includes removing existing window treatments as necessary, protecting roller shades for owner salvage, disposing of horizontal blinds and construction debris, and installing new manual solar shades in coordination with the separate glazing replacement project. The specified work includes surface-mounted solar shades with fascia, single, dual, and coupled configurations, generally based on a 3 percent openness-factor steel-gray fabric system. The contractor must coordinate installation with the window contractor, perform field verification, maintain required site protections, provide product data, shop drawings, samples, qualification information, and testing documentation as applicable, and comply with background-check and insurance requirements. Work is expected during weekday hours, with the construction phase scheduled from November 15, 2026, through June 15, 2027.
