Description
Olathe Public Schools USD #233 is soliciting bids for an annual on-call contract providing unit pricing for asphalt and concrete repair, replacement, and new installation projects throughout the district. Asphalt work includes new and replacement parking areas and streets, overlays, patching of roads, parking lots, drives, and playgrounds, and aggregate base or lateral rock work. Concrete work includes new and replacement sidewalks, two-foot curbs and gutters, and six- and eight-inch concrete pavement. The contractor must provide qualified personnel, respond to emergency requests within one day and other service requests within three working days, and perform work in accordance with the stated material, safety, quality, and applicable code requirements. The initial agreement term is three years, with up to two additional one-year extensions by mutual written agreement. Bidders must provide annual price escalators, submit required unit pricing through the electronic bid portal, and, if awarded, provide performance and public works bonds as applicable, insurance, and required subcontractor information.
