Description
Community Transit is seeking a vendor to supply and deliver 721 automotive electrical parts and supplies, including brand-specific connectors, terminals, fuses, relays, wire, battery cables, cable ties, heat-shrink materials, clamps, and related electrical components. The price sheet contains 515 brand-specific line items and 206 unspecified line items; equivalent products are not permitted for the initial bid where a brand and manufacturer part number are specified. Vendors may quote some or all line items, but the ability to provide all or most items will be considered in the award. The successful vendor must maintain sufficient inventory or replenishment capability, make weekly service calls to three parts and automotive department locations at two Everett bases, inventory and restock designated bins, keep stock organized, provide emergency deliveries within 72 hours when requested, and submit usage reports every six months or as requested. The estimated annual spend is approximately $50,000, although it is not guaranteed. The contract is fixed-price with economic adjustment after the initial period and includes a one-year base term beginning in November 2026 plus four one-year extension options.
