Description
The City of Garland, through Garland Power & Light, is soliciting bids for the design, fabrication, testing, hot-dip galvanizing, packaging, shipment, and delivery of tubular and tapered steel structures and associated anchor assemblies for a 138-kV substation rebuild. The scope includes dead-end A-frames, additions, static masts, switch and bus supports, instrument-transformer stands, CMU stands, switch spacers, anchor cages, anchor bolts, templates, hardware, coatings, and related accessories shown in the bid drawings and specifications. The supplier must provide pricing for all bid units, lead times from purchase-order award, fabrication and delivery schedules, required engineering calculations and drawings, inspection and testing documentation, and a completed steel fabricator questionnaire. The questionnaire requires identification of the fabricator and fabrication facility, a U.S.-registered professional engineer, relevant fabrication qualifications, and acknowledgment of a minimum five-year warranty. Delivery of the anchor assemblies and structures is required by September 6, 2027. Responses must be submitted electronically through the designated procurement portal; faxed and emailed bids are not accepted.
