Description
The Albany County Pine Hills Land Authority is seeking a contractor to provide snow removal services at the former College of Saint Rose campus. The scope includes plowing designated parking areas, clearing surrounding sidewalks, walkways, entrances, building egresses, and a bus stop, salting parking areas, and de-icing sidewalks and parking areas during snow and icing events. The contractor must provide all labor and materials, stack snow as needed, and separately remove excessive accumulated snow when directed. The initial term is one year, with two optional one-year extensions by mutual agreement. Evening or overnight snowfall must be cleared by 7:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time. Bidders must document at least five years of snow-removal-services experience and provide at least five customer references. Required submission materials include the completed bid form, bidder qualification questionnaire, vendor responsibility questionnaire, non-collusion statement, stormwater certification, prior non-responsibility disclosure, and bidder certification. No bid security or performance bond is required, but the successful contractor must provide specified insurance before work begins.
