The Cumberland County Utilities Authority is hiring an Operations Manager to plan, direct, coordinate, and supervise the daily operations of its wastewater treatment plant, sludge processing, collection system, solid waste operations, maintenance activities, and related facilities. The role ensures safe, efficient, and compliant operations with federal, state, and local environmental regulations. Key responsibilities include overseeing operational budgets, coordinating capital improvement projects, supervising staff, and working with engineering and regulatory agencies. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent experience), seven years of progressively responsible experience in wastewater treatment or utilities, and three years of supervisory experience. Certifications required include a valid New Jersey Driver's License, a New Jersey Wastewater Treatment Operator License (S 3 or higher preferred), and a New Jersey Collection System License (C 3 preferred).
