Description
Boulder County Parks & Open Space is soliciting a contractor to replace crusher-fines bridge approaches with concrete improvements at two bridges near the Niwot Loop Trailhead. The work includes excavation and off-site disposal, subgrade and aggregate-base preparation, concrete approach construction, trail-edge grading, riprap and bedding, drainage improvements, temporary fencing, sediment controls, FODS track-out controls, portable restrooms, concrete washout, mobilization, demobilization, and restoration of impacted areas. The contractor must provide CDOT Class B concrete meeting specified air-content, slump, cementitious-material, and 4,500-psi compressive-strength requirements; perform Proctor, gradation, and concrete-strength testing; comply with access, traffic-control, utility-locate, trail-closure, environmental, and cultural-resource requirements; and complete the work within 30 consecutive calendar days after contract execution and issuance of a Notice to Proceed. The submission requires the completed Bid Tab, Bid Total, W-9, Vendor Information Form, Certificate of Insurance, and required portal responses; a Certificate of Good Standing is optional at submission and required if awarded.
