Description
The City of Lafayette is soliciting bids for construction work at three locations, including removal of existing sidewalks, curbs, gutters, pavement, fencing, signs, and markings; excavation; topsoil, erosion-control, and landscaping work; aggregate base; six-inch concrete pavement; concrete sidewalks; curb and gutter; geotextile; drainage pipe; signs and delineators; pavement markings; construction surveying; mobilization; and traffic-control inspection and management. The contractor must provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and services; comply with applicable accessibility standards, including the 2010 ADA Standards and PROWAG; and complete the work within 40 working days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. A 5% proposal guaranty is required, along with performance and payment bonds each equal to 100% of the contract amount after award.
