Description
Spartanburg School District Three seeks one or more contractors to provide on-call preventive, routine, and emergency plumbing services across its facilities. The contractor must furnish labor, supervision, tools, equipment, vehicles, materials, permits, and incidentals. Work includes inspection, repair, replacement, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of water distribution systems, drains, waste and vent systems, plumbing fixtures, commercial kitchen plumbing, grease traps and interceptors, and sewer systems. Grease trap services include scheduled and emergency pump-outs, cleaning, inspections, documentation, and related repairs; sewer work includes locating, camera inspections, hydro-jetting, clearing blockages, lift station plumbing repairs, emergency overflow response, and excavation when required. The contractor must provide 24-hour emergency response capability, with a required response within two hours for emergencies during school hours and after hours, within 24 hours for urgent non-emergency calls, and within three business days for routine calls. Proposals must include fully burdened hourly rates by labor classification and time category, pricing for grease trap, emergency pump-out, and sewer services, material and subcontractor markup rates, applicable vehicle or equipment charges, and offered response commitments. The solicitation also requests a designated company representative, at least three similar customer references, information about prior defaults, and evidence of relevant experience and physical assets. The contract term is three years, with two one-year extension options.
