Description
The Town seeks a licensed engineering firm to perform a three-phase groundwater source evaluation in the northeastern area of Cherokee County and the surrounding area. The work includes a preliminary hydrogeologic assessment to map available groundwater and identify high-yield drilling targets; test-well drilling and drawdown testing to assess sustainable yield; and water-quality and treatability evaluation, including compatibility with the existing water system. The final deliverable is a Preliminary Engineering Report supported by the evaluation findings. The response must be a statement of qualifications, not a cost proposal. It must address the firm's and subcontractors' qualifications, key personnel and resumes, relevant project experience, project approach and work plan, workload, and two relevant project references from the last eight years. The statement is limited to 15 single-sided letter-size pages, excluding covers, blank section dividers, and required forms such as resumes. The selected firm will negotiate fees after selection.
