Description
Spartanburg County is soliciting a contractor for a unit-price road paving project in Woodfin Ridge Subdivision. The estimated work includes approximately 55,141 square yards of asphalt surface course, six-inch cement-modified recycled base using curing Method B, liquid asphalt binder, asphalt milling, full-depth patching, maintenance stone, temporary and thermoplastic pavement markings, speed hump construction, driveway tie-ins, and related roadway improvements across multiple subdivision streets. The contractor will be responsible for traffic control, resident and homeowners’ association notifications, utility coordination, quality control, electronic material ticketing, construction layout, inspection coordination, restoration, and a one-year materials-and-workmanship warranty. Wrecker service for relocating obstructing vehicles may be required and is paid per tow. Quantities are estimates, and final payment will be based on accepted quantities performed in the field.
