Description
The Laurens Commission of Public Works is soliciting sealed proposals for improvements to its municipal natural-gas system. The work includes replacing existing steel mains in Laurens County with approximately 2,800 feet of 4-inch polyethylene pipe and approximately 33,500 feet of 2-inch polyethylene pipe, plus replacing all or portions of approximately 237 existing services. Proposals must use the standard forms provided in the specifications and be marked for the Steel Main Replacement Program – Phase VI. A bid deposit equal to 5% of the net price bid is required, payable as cash, certified check, or a 5% bid bond. The solicitation reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
