Description
The Cowpens Fire Department is soliciting a complete turnkey replacement of its existing emergency generator system. The contractor must remove and dispose of the existing equipment and provide and install an 80 kW Cummins liquid-cooled standby generator on the existing generator pad, along with a 400-amp Cummins automatic transfer switch. The scope includes electrical and natural gas disconnection and reconnection, a new Norgas regulator, required materials, permits, inspections, supervision, commissioning, load testing, automatic-transfer verification, operational testing, and training for designated fire department personnel. Pricing must include all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, crane or setting costs, permitting, testing, and related costs. The bid must also include a 10-year extended warranty, one year of generator maintenance with two visits, one year of monitoring, surge protection, and commissioning documentation.
