Description
The Kent County Road Commission is soliciting bids for its fiscal-year requirements for 26% mineral well brine, excluding oil well brine. The selected supplier must provide approximately 2,265,415 gallons based on three-year average usage, in 7,000- to 9,000-gallon truckloads, delivered and pumped into designated storage tanks at multiple road commission, gravel pit, and participating-agency locations. Deliveries generally must occur within 24 hours of an order, subject to specified delivery-hour restrictions. Pricing must include specified 20,000-gallon FRAK tank rentals and delivery during designated periods. The bid also includes optional pricing for a 6,000-gallon application trailer. Bidders must complete the provided pricing sheet and questionnaire, demonstrate the ability to deliver large quantities, identify equipment and subcontractors, and provide required insurance after award. The contract is for 12 months with a possible one-year renewal.
