Description
The County of Orange is soliciting proposals for comprehensive janitorial services across multiple County departments and facilities. The scope includes routine, periodic, and emergency cleaning; trash and recycling removal; floor care such as sweeping, mopping, stripping, sealing, waxing, buffing, and deep carpet extraction; restroom, shower, kitchen, gym, clinical, laboratory, detention, and high-risk-area sanitation; glass and window cleaning; exterior waste collection; enhanced disinfecting; and day porter services. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, commercial-grade equipment, tools, supplies, disinfectants, paper products, dispensers, PPE, and incidentals. Services include 24/7/365 custodial operations at John Wayne Airport, with frequent restroom servicing, airport security badging and background checks, biohazard and sharps response, and documented quality-control reporting. The solicitation requires attendance at all mandatory job walks, a demonstrated history of comparable multi-site janitorial work, at least three comparable public-sector contracts within the past five years, and a detailed technical response, staffing plan, references, compliance certifications, and supporting forms.
