Description
Shenandoah School Corporation is soliciting construction bids for a new transportation center at 5100 North Raider Road, Middletown, Indiana. The project includes a wood-framed bus maintenance building with two bus bays, administrative spaces, a mezzanine, and four post-framed bus-storage canopies with metal siding and roofing. The scope also includes asphalt and concrete paving, fencing, bollards, relocation of discus-field improvements, plumbing, HVAC, electrical distribution and lighting, fiber-optic and communications cabling, technology equipment enclosures, and access control. Alternates cover an upgraded maintenance slab, heavy-duty asphalt, sectional-door glazing, and fabricated metal logo signage. The bid includes stated construction contingency and aid-to-construction allowances. Construction is scheduled to begin March 1, 2027, with completion by December 31, 2027. Performance and payment bonds equal to 100% of the contract sum are required, along with specified commercial general liability and automobile liability insurance.
