The City of Clearwater is seeking qualified design-build teams with expertise in selecting, purchasing, and installing a compressed natural gas-powered standby emergency generator for Clearwater Executive Airport. The broader scope includes design, permitting, procurement, structural and utility coordination, installation, transfer switches, integration, testing, commissioning, training, and closeout for a system supporting the airport terminal and adjacent CNG fueling station while the facilities remain operational. Respondents must provide qualifications, technical approach, safety and litigation information, financial and bonding capacity, insurance capability, references, and required certifications and business documents. The project is expected to begin in January 2027, with responses due October 22, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time.
