Description
Elk Grove Unified School District Food & Nutrition Services is soliciting proposals for three equipment units to support its central kitchen: a depositer, a rotary filling and sealing system, and a bowl lift. The units may be awarded individually, and proposers do not need to bid on every item. Comparable models may be offered if they meet the specifications, with manufacturer specification sheets and product literature required for alternate models. The scope includes equipment delivery to the District's central kitchen warehouse, freight and applicable sales tax, and itemized pricing. Installation support, startup services, hands-on operational training, packaging removal, and, for the bowl lift, removal and hauling away of the original unit are required as specified. Cut sheets must be submitted for District review and approval before manufacturing begins. The initial contract term is one year, with up to four additional one-year renewals, and evaluation considers technical capability, price, delivery feasibility, vendor experience, and proposal completeness.
