Submission Instructions
Description
The solicitation seeks proposals for stationary and mobile material processing and recycling equipment designed to recycle, recover, process, reduce, separate, screen, sort, or repurpose organic waste, wood and green waste, construction and demolition debris, biomass, compost, mulch, rubber tires, and similar recyclable or recoverable materials. Equipment may include grinders, chippers, shredders, conveyors, screens, compost turners, aeration equipment, crushers, pulverizers, breakers, and debris-processing or volume-reduction equipment. Brush chippers, tree-care equipment, glass recycling equipment, and plastic recycling equipment are excluded. Proposals may include ancillary equipment, accessories, replacement and wear parts, controls, telematics, monitoring and automation technology, software, safety equipment, and related services such as installation, setup, commissioning, configuration, integration, training, inspection, maintenance, repair, refurbishment, technical support, field service, and equipment optimization. The resulting regional or national master agreement is intended for participating public-sector and not-for-profit organizations across Canada. Equipment-only or products-only solutions may be acceptable where the participating entity can arrange installation. Proposers using subsidiaries, distributors, dealers, resellers, or subcontractors must identify and explain those arrangements, while the buyer prefers a sole source of responsibility.
