Description
Delta State University's Office of Procurement Services is soliciting sealed bids for one new aviation refueling truck. The truck must be designed to exclusively carry 100LL fuel and be built in accordance with current industry standards, ensuring it is "road legal." The specifications detail requirements for a minimum 1000-gallon tank capacity, an electric retractable hose reel, a 12VDC 25GPM fuel transfer pump, a VF-61 fuel filter housing, a calibrated fuel counter, a bottom-load capable fueling point with automatic cutoff, explosion-proof electrical components, a gasoline truck (not diesel), and a brake interlock system. The university reserves the right to accept the bid that best meets the specifications and is in the best interest of the university. Bidders must comply with all Mississippi State purchasing rules and regulations, and provide proof of General Liability Insurance for at least $1,000,000 within five business days of bid acceptance. The award will be given to the bidder best meeting the specifications, considering factors such as specification compliance, compatibility with existing AATD, delivery time, past performance, bidder reputation, and price.
