Description
The National Park Service (NPS) requires the replacement of an existing utility bucket lift truck. The new vehicle must match or exceed the performance capabilities of a Versalift SST-40-EIH aerial lift configuration and support daily operational workloads. The acquisition is for one new, fully assembled, and operational aerial lift bucket truck, including chassis, aerial lift, utility body, accessories, and safety equipment. All equipment must be new, unused, and compliant with OEM and ANSI standards. The chassis requirements include a 2026 or newer model year, Ford F-550 equivalent regular cab 4x4 with a diesel engine, heavy-duty automatic transmission, and a GVWR of approximately 19,500 lbs. The aerial lift should be an insulated articulated telescopic aerial device with a working height of approximately 45 ft and a horizontal reach of approximately 27 ft 9 in, with a lift capacity of about 350 lbs. The utility body should be steel, compatible with the aerial lift, and include features like non-skid flooring, locking compartments, and LED lighting. Required safety equipment includes a 4-corner LED strobe system, rear LED work lighting, backup alarm, slope indicator, safety interlocks, fire extinguisher, reflective triangle kit, and wheel chocks. The complete unit must comply with ANSI, OSHA, FMVSS, DOT, and EPA emissions standards. Deliverables include the fully assembled truck, operator and maintenance manuals, ANSI certification documents, warranty documentation, final build sheet, and an inspection/acceptance checklist. Delivery is required 30-120 days after award to 2700 George Washington Memorial Parkway, Arlington, VA 22202, FOB destination. The contractor is responsible for all transportation and handling costs and must coordinate delivery with NPS personnel. Inspection and acceptance will be conducted upon delivery.
