Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs requires full-service maintenance for government-owned patient ceiling lifts at the Sheridan VA Medical Center. The equipment includes 28 Arjo-Century Maxi Sky 2 lifts, two Arjo Maxi Sky 1000 lifts, 10 HandiCare/Medicare C625 lifts, and two HandiCare/Medicare C1000 lifts. The contractor must provide annual preventive maintenance inspections, calibration, on-call corrective and emergency repairs, labor, travel, parts, materials, software updates, field service reports, inspection documentation, and 24/7 telephone support. Certified Arjo and HandiCare/Medicare technicians are required, with emergency telephone response within one hour, on-site response within 48 hours when telephone resolution is not possible, and restoration to full performance within 72 hours. The base period is 12 months with four 12-month option periods, for a potential five-year term. Quotes must include a completed price schedule, technical capability narrative and certification documentation, and three relevant past-performance references.
