Description
The City of Billings is soliciting bids for construction of a rock underpinning and rock-toppling mitigation system on a segment of the Rims above Zimmerman Trail. The system will incorporate anchor bolts, wire-rope cabling, steel anchor-head plates, and shotcrete. Bids must include a certified check, cashier’s check, or bid bond payable to the City of Billings in an amount of at least 10% of the total bid. The successful bidder must provide a performance bond and a labor and materials payment bond, each equal to 100% of the contract amount, along with required insurance documentation. The contractor and subcontractors must be registered with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry.
