Description
The Indian Health Service is conducting market research for an anticipated firm-fixed-price, non-personal service contract covering on-site maintenance of one direct-plunger hydraulic elevator at the Wagner Health Center. The scope includes routine preventive maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, adjustment, inspection, testing, in-scope repairs, monthly fire-fighter emergency operations, emergency or callback service, and annual inspection in accordance with ASME A17.2-2023 and applicable NFPA 101 requirements. The contractor must furnish required tools, lubricants, hydraulic fluid, cleaning supplies, and in-scope parts; maintain service receipts, logbook entries, callback and repair records, and annual maintenance files; and provide a written corrective-action plan for recurring unresolved problems. Responses are capability statements for market research only and are not offers for contract award. Respondents must provide proof of current service mechanic certification issued by the International Union of Elevator Constructors and the name and telephone number of the service technician who would perform the work. The anticipated contract consists of a one-year base period plus four one-year option periods, with performance beginning January 1, 2027. The notice is intended to assess the availability of Indian Economic Enterprises and small businesses and may inform a subsequent solicitation.
