Description
The City of Lennox, South Dakota is soliciting bids for the purchase of a used street sweeper. The sweeper must be a 2015 or newer model with no more than 8,500 hours and 45,000 miles. It must be a rear steer, front variable height dumping type with a three-wheel chassis. Key specifications include a heavy-duty 4-cylinder turbocharged industrial engine of at least 74 HP, hydrostatic transmission, hydraulic disc brakes, full hydrostatic power steering with manual override, and a cab with air conditioning, heating, and various amenities. The sweeper must be equipped with dual gutter brooms, a main broom, a continuous rubber belt conveyor, a 3.5-yard hopper, a 220-gallon polyethylene water tank, and an auto lube system. The bidder must have a parts and service facility within the state of South Dakota and provide a list of parts and service work done on the machine. The successful bidder must supply factory parts, operator, and service manuals with the sweeper. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
