Description
The City of Coquitlam is soliciting tenders for Contract 89120 to rehabilitate two underground pressure-reducing valve stations: the Falcon Drive station near Guildford Way and the Pinetree Way station north of Cardinal Court. The work includes mobilization, preparation of work and isolation plans, removal and protection of existing components, supply and installation of process mechanical and plumbing piping, pressure-reducing valves, gate valves, strainers, air valves, fittings, supports, gauges, drainage, and related equipment. The Pinetree Way station also includes a battery-operated flow-metering package. The contractor must perform testing, flushing, disinfection, bacteriological testing, commissioning, site restoration, traffic management, environmental protection, and operation and maintenance documentation. The tender requires a preliminary construction schedule, superintendent experience, comparable project references, subcontractor information, and a copy of the original 10% bid bond. Substantial performance is required by October 15, 2026, and the tender must remain open for 60 calendar days after closing. The tender is due July 3, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. local time and must be submitted electronically through QFile, with the consolidated tender submitted as a PDF and Appendix 1 submitted in Microsoft Excel format.
