Description
Butler County Regional Transit Authority is seeking one or more contractors to provide weekly exterior and regular interior cleaning of all vehicles operated by the authority, along with exterior cleaning of facilities in Middletown and Oxford. The vehicle fleet is distributed across Hamilton, Middletown, and Oxford; all in-service vehicles will be available for cleaning, and the authority will move vehicles as needed. Cleaning may be staggered throughout the week, vehicles are generally available in the early evening, and emergency or on-call interior cleaning must be completed within 24 hours of notification. The contractor must provide a mobile pressure-washing setup. BCRTA has no specific PSI, water-temperature, or equipment requirements, but vehicles must be completely cleaned each time. Storm sewers are present at all locations, no vendor wash-bay access is available, and any applicable discharge permitting is the contractor’s responsibility. Oxford vehicles are stored indoors, while the other two locations use outdoor storage; a cold-weather policy will be established in the agreement. The solicitation permits proposals for vehicle cleaning, facility cleaning, or both and may result in multiple contracts.
