Description
The County of Alameda is soliciting quotations from contractors to provide the option to purchase and deliver various new, unused, current-model Dodge vehicles and approved equivalents for use by county agencies in their daily operations. The County intends to establish a pool of up to three contractors selected as the lowest responsive and responsible bidders whose responses meet the County's requirements. The Q&A clarifies that bidders must quote the Dodge Durango Pursuit at the standard trim specified in the RFQ, including manufacturer-standard equipment; optional equipment should not be included unless standard, and OEM options must be priced at actual dealer cost. Bidders must demonstrate at least three years of regularly and continuously selling vehicles and provide manufacturer-authorized-dealer certification or a manufacturer letter for the requested makes and models. Non-certified SLEB bidders must subcontract at least 20% of the total estimated bid amount to a certified SLEB to be eligible for award; inability to meet this requirement must be identified as an exception and may result in disqualification. The contract is for one year, with four one-year renewal options.
