Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, FCI Morgantown, intends to make a single, all-or-none award for estimated requirements of fresh kosher bread products. The solicitation requests approximately 2,001 each 24-ounce whole-wheat sliced bread loaves, 801 packages of whole-wheat hamburger buns, and 600 packages of whole-wheat hot dog buns. Bread must be fresh, seedless, pan-baked, sliced, and delivered within 48 hours after baking; products must have an expiration date at least 10 days after delivery. The vendor must provide kosher certification with the quote and state the applicable bread type and package or loaf size where requested. Orders will be placed as needed by the Food Service Supervisor and delivered weekly, preferably on Mondays. Quantities are estimates under an indefinite-delivery/requirements contract, and the vendor must replace unacceptable, short, or substandard products within 24 hours. The award will consider price, delivery, and past performance, and the vendor must be registered under NAICS 311812. Only electronic quotes submitted by email will be accepted.
